Ali McKleroy, M.A.

Psychedelic Integration Specialist

Hi! I’m Ali McKleroy, founder of The Creative Psychonaut, where healing meets imagination and psychedelic integration becomes a path to authentic, empowered living.

I’m a coach, author, speaker, artist, and longtime psychedelic explorer with over 30 years of personal journeying and two decades of guiding others through deep transformation.

With a foundation in clinical training and 20 years of experience as a therapist in the mental health field, I now offer a more creative, soul-centered approach—helping people reconnect with their inner light and integrate psychedelic insights through intuitive, somatic and art-based practices.

I’m deeply inspired by the wisdom of Indigenous cultures who have long stewarded sacred plant medicines. I approach this work with reverence, humility, and a commitment to honoring these traditions through ethical, informed, and respectful integration practices.

My toolkit draws from mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral techniques, somatic practices, polyvagal theory, therapeutic yoga, and non-violent communication (NVC). I hold an additional Master’s in Art Therapy and believe that creativity is a powerful pathway to healing, insight, and rediscovering JOY and FLOW.

I’m also the author of two books and have been featured as a mental health expert in TIME, The Guardian, Forbes, Vogue, Well+Good, Verywell Mind, Today, Daily OM, and more.

Having traveled to over 25 countries and lived on five continents, I bring a rich, multicultural lens to my practice, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds in four languages.

Through private coaching sessions, creative workshops, retreats, and group experiences, I help people turn psychedelic insights into meaningful, embodied change—so they can live in alignment with their purpose, values, and inner spark.
