🌿 The C.R.E.A.T.E. Integration Model
A 6-phase process for transforming plant medicine insights into sustainable soul-aligned change.
The C.R.E.A.T.E. Integration Model is a creativeand neuroscience-informed framework for psychedelic preparation and integration. It guides seekers to clarify intentions, regulate their nervous systems, express insights, and take aligned action toward lasting transformation. Grounded in the expressive arts, somatic therapy, Indigenous wisdom, and evidence-based tools for habit change, this model supports you in turning fleeting insight into embodied wisdom.
C – Center
Ground, reflect, and listen to what’s emerging.
After a psychedelic or plant medicine experience, the nervous system can be sensitive, open, and flooded with emotion. This first step is about anchoring back into the body through grounding rituals and centering practices — with calm, care, and presence.
Tools include:
Breathwork, yoga, or somatic movement
Nervous system regulation tools
Creative altar-making or nature-based ritual
Sensory awareness and mindfulness practices
Structure/routines for safety and containment
R – Reckon
Face what arose. Acknowledge truth, shadow, or grief.
This phase invites deep honesty and emotional courage. It’s the part where you reckon with what was revealed — even the parts you didn’t expect or want. Here, we begin to confront discomfort and hold space for the range of experience.
Tools include:
Guided prompts for shadow exploration
Compassionate journaling or dialogue with inner parts
Art-based emotional expression
Emotional literacy practices
E – Express
Move insight from within to the outside through creativity.
Artistic expression helps translate the ineffable. This phase channels what’s been lived or revealed into form — giving voice to the inner experience and making it real in the outer world. It gives shape to the soul’s truth.
Tools include:
Visual journaling, painting, intuitive drawing
Poetry or freewriting
Music, sound, or movement expression
Ceremonial creativity (e.g., ritual object-making)
Art as catharsis, art as integration
A – Align
Get clear on values, direction, and soul-aligned truth.
Integration is not just about what happened — it’s about where you’re going. In this phase, we distill the message or meaning of the journey and clarify how to move forward in integrity and alignment This is your compass.
Tools include:
Values clarification exercises
Visual mapping of priorities and inner compass
Practices to tune into inner “yes” and “no”
Coaching on aligned decision-making
Soul-centered visioning
T – Tend
Care for the body, mind, and spirit with compassion.
Sustainable change comes from consistent care. Tending is about nurturing what’s tender — the emotional integration, the inner child, the daily practices that root change in gentleness rather than force. This is how we grow strong.
Tools include:
Personalized self-care rituals
Mindfulness for anxious or spiraling thoughts
Loving-kindness and compassion-based practices
Tracking emotional states and creating supports
Nervous system tuning with art, music, or nature
E – Embody
Take soul-aligned action. Live what you learned.
True integration is action. This final phase is about bringing your insights into everyday life — through relationships, habits, choices, and embodied values. It’s the place where we stop talking about the path and start walking it.
Tools include:
Habit design and lifestyle structuring
Creative accountability systems
Assertive communication and boundary-setting
Somatic anchoring of commitments
Creating a personal integration plan or manifesto
